This rainy season has not been so friendly to those of us who love to cycle. Let us change that by offering you a Tour De France inspired “Summer Sale”. Trek is coming to Bikeworks for demo day. Thursday the 28th of May. You can try any bike that Trek brings with them in there truck. There will be road and mountain, it’s going to be a blast!! So if you are serious about buying a new Trek bicycle or just want to test ride a bunch of them come on down. We will be open from 10-6 and the demo’s start at 12:00. See you there and hope for some sunshine.

The Cervelo night was a great time, so now we are going to do it with Zipp wheels. The New England rep will be giving a presentation on the Zipp line. Everything from carbon wheels, carbon handlebars, to carbon stems and more. There will be a door prize. Beer and snacks available. Hope to see you there.

As expected, big Dave Pellitier from Cervelo gave a great presentation on the Cervelo line and the much anticipated P-4 and S3 bikes. There was a good crowd of 30 or more people attending at Bikeworks. There was a lot of information about how to be faster for 2009. Dave proved that the P-4 is the fastest bike available. He answered many question and the P-4 was 15 watts faster (about 2min faster in a 40k). So come down and see the full line of tri and race bikes from Cervelo.

The new location is just three buildings down from the old one, just at the lights, where Rick’s Music World was. It’s a larger store with 5100 square feet of room for your shopping convenience. The Tour always boasts the best bicycles. The new Cervelo’s and Treks are the best bikes in the Tour this year being ridden by the new Cervelo Test Team and Astana cycling team. Fall River chamber of commerce mention

We’ve just had the privilege of being mentioned as a Fall River Chamber of Commerce Member of Note. You can read the article here.

Winter rides: We have been riding mountain bikes as of late. If your interested in joining the mountain bike rides please call the shop @ 508-677-0710. We have group rides twice a week. One on Thursday night 7pm at Foxboro forest. Saturday mornings, but you need to call to find out where and time when the ride is.If you call by Friday afternoon we will be able to give you the info you need. Thanks.

The Saturday morning “A” road ride leaves BikeWorks at 8:00 AM sharp. Please show up early so we can hit the road on time. The “B” ride will leave from the store at the 8:30. The routes are marked and will vary from 25-45 miles depending on time available and weather. It’s good to call the shop on Friday to find out what the ride will be: hills, flats, mixed or a different location.

We have developed a “C” ride that leaves at 8:30am sharp from the store on Saturday mornings. This ride is for both women and men and averages between 14-18 mph. Road bikes only and everyone must wear a helmet.
